I love Lorne in all seasons.
I love Lorne in all seasons. The beach is great in warmer months and the forests are great all year round. Plenty of walks, lots of good cafes and restaurants, the newly renovated Grand Pacific Hotel is insane. The government bus service to get to Lorne and Apollo Bay...
The government bus service to get to Lorne and Apollo Bay from Geelong is very cheap and enabled both of us to relax and enjoy the beautiful coastal scenery for the hour long journey, instead of the stress if navigating a very windy road. Lorne is very quaint and well serviced. There are great foreshore walks to have and some level of fitness is required. If you prefer eating and coffee there are plenty of cafes and restaurants plus boutiques for shopping. Thoroughly recommended a visit.Guest review byDianeAustralia - 10.0

Mantra Lorne has fantastic facilities for a holiday. Fantastic greek restaurant named (IPSOS) opposite the Mantra Lorne. The property was clean upon arrival and is very spacious for a group of five people. It is great that a tennis table is available for us to play too.
