In this case the visit was for a photographic tour.
In this case the visit was for a photographic tour. Nowra is the perfect base for playing tourist as most attractions are an easy drive away (half to an hour away). Accommodation is hugely expensive (hundreds or thousands $$$) in the tourist Meccas and mostly unavailable anyway. I recommend Nowra for an economic and hassle free stay. Room was clean, spacious and better than expected. Couldn’t connect to the internet. Restaurant downstairs was perfect after a long day of driving. Quite at night. Nowra is such a lovely little town and SO close to Jervis...
Nowra is such a lovely little town and SO close to Jervis Bay too. We did a road trip through some small towns and got to explore the surrounding areas. We stayed at Nowra just to go to the local zoo.
We stayed at Nowra just to go to the local zoo. I think it is one of the better zoos I have visited. Love the lion feeding and the crocks. Have been a number of times now and everytime we travel down the cost we always find time to visit the zoo. The Anglicare Op-Shop is terrific and they sell quality items cheap and the staff are friendly, even I don't mind going there with the wife and I usually like op-shops.Guest review byPeterAustralia - 10.0

Nowra is a beautiful town , with lovely green countryside , lovely river. It has many hotel options , nice food markets. Some lovely Restaurant options. Close to beautiful beaches / bays. Would absolutely recommend “Farmgate” as a restaurant in Bomaderry. Modern delicious food , great drinks , great staff, beautiful decor and artworks.
