Port Elliot has a lovely mix of boutiques, cafes and pubs. It is a smaller place to stay from Victor Harbor, which is easily to drive to. Port Elliot has amazing beaches all within easy walking distance of each other. It is a great base to visit the Fleurieu Peninsular, Goolwa, Hindmarsh Isalnd and the the wine regions. Port Elliot is a lovely little seaside town.
Port Elliot is a lovely little seaside town. The tourist railway is a must. Horseshoe Bay is a safe beach perfect for families. Port Elliot has lots of places to eat. Victor harbour is close by and Kangaroo Island ferry is only an hour’s drive. Shopping was very convenient with lots of box stores and smaller shops to choose from . There are many small and cosy eateries as well as more formal choices . A GPS will get you everywhere with ease one remembers until one remembers their easy to remember street names .There are lots of bakeries with their usual good choices and adjoining seating for coffies and cakes to be enjoyed with good company !Guest review byAnonymous
