Fantastic location, was easy to walk to the local cafes and a quick walk across the road to get to the beach! it was very comfortable, both rooms had comfy king size beds, the fireplace was both lovely and warm and beautiful to look at! and we really appreciated the bottle of milk that was left for us on arrival - meant we could have a cuppa straight away and relax after a long drive! We would definitely stay here again!

The location was fabulous, close to the beach, town and golf club. When we arrived our grazing platter was in the fridge as was the breakfast tray for the next morning. The dinner in our room was well prepared with easy instructions to reheat. beautiful teas in the room to enjoy.

    It's a great little coastal town plenty to see and do, full of history you have the great walking tracks, the historical fort, the ferry boat to take you across the water to Sorrento. Great little place to spend time at.

    Great location for a weekend or a longer stay.

    Great location for a weekend or a longer stay. It has the beach, ferry crossing which we did, and the history. Enjoyed the museum with very lovely staff and always enjoy the book shop and hunt for vintage items in the shopping area. Lots of eating choices and all in a compact area.

    I like old hotels so am a bit biased in that sense.

    I like old hotels so am a bit biased in that sense. The Vue Grand was a nice hotel from a past age. The balcony was fairly private so you could sit outside and enjoy the atmosphere plus look over at the street to see what was going on.

    Queenscliff has an abundance of accommodation places for you...

    Queenscliff has an abundance of accommodation places for you to stay for all family types and all price ranges; it has some wonderful eateries for varying types of cuisine, the best bakery in the area (with winning pies), a great little lolly shop and, if you prefer, a butcher shop to cater for all your BBQ needs. It also features a fantastic bookshop, souvenir stores, art/craft stores, op shops and more. There is a lovely little tourist railway, a pier to walk out on and lots of beautiful scenery too. Point Lonsdale lighthouse is a few minutes drive away, Ocean Grove a 15 minutes drive for your beach fix and a ferry to take you across the bay.

    Queenscliff is such a beautiful town to visit, we travelled the Blues Train would highly recommend, wonderful evening, the view travelling the train on sunset was spectacular, the town, the local pub was just superb, we caught the ferry across from Sorrento, a lovely adventurous journey, take the bikes, cycle around town, enjoy some shopping, relaxing at the local with live music Sundays, I highly recommend a stay at Queenscliff.

    Queenscliff is such a beautiful place to relax and enjoy the serenity. Plenty of places to eat out. Very nice coffee shops to enjoy a morning brew. The corner store does an amazing breakfast . This place should be apart of your travel plan.

    Great location, walking distance to Point Lonsdale and close to Queenscliff. Great access to the Bellarine Rail Trail, starting less than 2kms away. Quiet street with views of the cemetery (quiet neighbours!). Good wifi. Nice big deck. Paul was responsive to calls for access instructions and onsite some of the time. Great 2 bedroom apartment with all the amenity needed for 1 or 2 couples.

    This was our 2nd visit to Salt Loft. We enjoyed our last stay & were keen to stay again. It’s very private & quiet, & close to everything in Queenscliff. Salt Loft is ideal for a restful few days away, with everything we needed available. The treats on arrival were appreciated.

    It was like going back in time and my Mym who is 95 years old has been visiting this hotel she she was a young girl and couldn’t believe how many things had been kept/restored. The ambiance is amazing!
