It was just perfect. Staff were so helpful. Ensured everyone was happy and comfortable. I left something behind me, and they posted it to me to ensure I got it.

It is an awesome place and an awesome experience to stay there, it just works so much better than staying in the city and it places you right at the best place in Fremantle. It is right next to the markets which are mostly open on weekends it seems. It is modern and neat, a great experience - well recommended.

Would like to see plastic water bottles at entrance replaced - a little more eco friendly. Maybe some cut fruit for breakfast with yoghurt.

We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel! It was impeccably clean and beautifully designed, offering a serene and comfortable environment. The location was perfect—well-placed in the city, making it easy to explore nearby attractions and enjoy everything the area has to offer. What truly stood out, however, was the incredible hospitality of the staff. They were exceptionally kind, attentive, and always went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Their warm and friendly attitude made our experience even more memorable. We couldn’t recommend this place enough and can’t wait to return!

Location. From the train station walk up Market, turn left on High then right on Williams. 5 minutes! Oliver, cheerfully stored my luggage in their dedicated area to do so. Upon check in, My osteoarthritic knees ached. Liam, one of the managers carried my luggage to the penthouse room 9. The high ceilings, big window and super comfortable bed were inviting. Liam asked “would you like something to drink?” I ordered a jug of ice to complement the water bottles placed in the room and a bottle of red. Liam delivered both compliments of the house! There are two full, spacious bathrooms on the same private, carpeted hallway which are immaculate. Each guest receives 4 pieces of shampoo, conditioner and shower gel with 3 towels. The bathmats in the bathroom are pearl white and the hot water is near boiling. Not a speck or spot of mould as Hannah bleaches everything daily! World class best value in Western Australia

    Rottnest is an absolute gem.

Rottnest is an absolute gem. Apart from the quokkas (which are everywhere), the beaches and the water are picture perfect and absolutely pristine. It is so easy to get there from Perth, it would be a crime not to go there.

Loved the scenery and the Quokkas, Only downfall was the emergency door between rooms that allowed you to hear conversations, tv shows and coughing from next door which took away from trying to relax

A great place to relax and recharge, and get some easy walking and cycling in, as well as snorkellng. Different options for coffee, drinks and meals depending on your budget, group (family, friends, groups). Loved the quokkas and the beaches with virtually no one on them.

Bicycle ride with the family till the tallest light house...

Bicycle ride with the family till the tallest light house was the best! Mother's day lunch at Frankie's was simply delicious! Amazing pizza and good kids menu: (creamy chicken pasta for my fussy eater was a winner) The Nutella donut at the bakery next to general store was a special treat for the kids and they loved it! Quokkars everywhere. They're super cute and friendly. It's not allowed to touch or feed them thou.

The scenery was the best. It's just so beautiful..

The scenery was the best. It's just so beautiful.. Rottnest Island must be kept accessible and affordable. There is now a tendency for prices of accommodation going up in Rottnest Island due to some overpriced hotels. The hop-on hop-off buses were very convenient for moving around. The free walking tours by very knowledgeable volunteer guides is well worth it. More visitors should be encouraged to go on the various walking trails.

A short stay can very easily turn into a longer stay once...

A short stay can very easily turn into a longer stay once you see whats on offer at Rottnest. t’s a casual island with many hidden gems worth exploring. You feel relaxed immediately on arrival, so have an open mind as Rottnest is very different from anything you might have experienced. Wherever you go you will enjoy great food often eaten under the shade of beautiful old trees that form part of the restaurants. The beaches are picturesque and very clean with soft sand to sunbathe on and not overcrowded . The water is Chrystal clear and fun to swim and snorkel in. As for the quokkas they are friendly, beautiful little animals you will see whilst walking or riding around the island. All in all , Rottnest is definitely a place worth visiting.

We stayed two nights at Samphire on Rottnest and loved it. The room was immaculate clean and had a beautiful interior. The staff was very friendly and helpful with extra requests. In-room dining service was delicious and prices were reasonable. Pool area was never too busy and sun beds were comfy! Spotted a few Quokkas around the hotel which was always a highlight. Would certainly comeback!
