South AfricaThe room was lovely with a very comfortable bed. Loved the balcony overlooking the pool. Fabulous shower. We loved that we could get a day pass to use the facilities once we checked out and were waiting for our ferry. Wish we'd stayed an extra night.

Wonderful beaches for swimming (even in August), good Quokka spotting tips from bike staff, and great to stay overnight and have an island almost to yourself as the 4pm ferry departs. Different options for coffee, drinks and meals depending on your budget, group (family, friends, groups). Bicycle ride with the family till the tallest light house was the best! Mother's day lunch at Frankie's was simply delicious! Amazing pizza and good kids menu: (creamy chicken pasta for my fussy eater was a winner) The Nutella donut at the bakery next to general store was a special treat for the kids and they loved it! The scenery was the best. It's just so beautiful.. Rottnest Island must be kept accessible and affordable. There is now a tendency for prices of accommodation going up in Rottnest Island due to some overpriced hotels. The hop-on hop-off buses were very convenient for moving around. The free walking tours by very knowledgeable volunteer guides is well worth it. More visitors should be encouraged to go on the various walking trails.Guest review byManjalMalaysia
