The secluded location and the views of the stars at night and the valley by day were spectacular. Marjory and Greg and amazing hosts - friendly, warm, and kind. Breakfast was perfect for our stay and our dinner of lamb shanks was amazing!! Thanking you both.

We stayed in the Hawkins cabin which is self contained. It had all necessary items required for cooking. Entire cabin is big enough for 7 pax. Location is also easy to reach. Quiet motel. Heard the restaurant is serving good food but we did not manage to try as it was closed for the holidays. Happy with the accommodation!

Everything about the place. Friendly and helpful staff. It's more like a hotel than a motel. Was so surprised to see that. Last minute, I asked for a change in the room configuration via a msg and was so surprised to see that they have actioned on it. Highly recommend and will definitely visit again.     The property is modern on the inside, with well-appointed bathroom, comfortable bed and cosy shared sitting room. The breakfast was perfect and set us up for the day, with home-made yoghurt and muesli, warm croissants and muffins that arrive at your table in the comfortable lounge room. Views of the mountains make this a beautiful setting to enjoy a few days. We felt at peace from the inside out. Easy to find, well-lit even at night time. Added bonus: free wifi worked perfectly. One of my favourite ever places.

    Rydal the place is a small rural hamlet.

    Rydal the place is a small rural hamlet. Realistically it is where you want to go to get away from everything in a rural setting. I went for its 'big event' the Daffodils Festival which is on the second and third weeks of September.
