Sanctuary point is a quiet relaxing part of Jervis Bay.
Sanctuary point is a quiet relaxing part of Jervis Bay. We enjoyed the natural surroundings and the sounds of nature. There are local shops and a service station. We had pizza from a local take away which was nice. The local country club was nice and provides a courtesy bus service for free. This beautiful lake view house, has everything you need.
This beautiful lake view house, has everything you need. Well equipped kitchen, large dining table comfortable lounge room, laundry, extra fridges in the garage. There is a wonderful loft with plenty of beds, great for large families. As well as two other double size rooms. Outside has a great outdoor setting , BBQ, and a path to the water. Sanctuary Point is mainly residential housing.
Sanctuary Point is mainly residential housing. There are no tourist activities unless you have your own boat. There are no eat in restaurants in the evening. There is a small row of takeaway shops, Indian, Chinese, Pizza and fish and chips. To us these all looked very grubby and uninviting so we didn’t use any of them. Everything closed at 7.00pm, except maybe the fish and chip shop. Take away is all well and good if you can eat it in your accommodation. We couldn’t and I suspect many more here would be difficult too. We ended up buying snacks from the petrol station and missing the evening meal.Guest review byChristopherUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Joe and Sonia are very friendly people.
Joe and Sonia are very friendly people. They will go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable within their home. We had our own private little courtyard which was perfect and a bbq we could use. Sonia supplied us with some breakfast goodies for us. The atmosphere of the place was astonishing. The basin was just as beautiful especially when watching the sunset. I highly recommend this place to anyone who loves to travel. My partner and I will definitely be back.Guest review byAnonymous
