    Only there 1 evening after spending day at Werribee zoo... would have liked to have stayed longer - we got take away from Hecho Mexico - didnt rate it - but so tired from long day at zoo...there seemed to be some amazing places to dine in

    Melbourne water wetlands self drive - excellent.

    Melbourne water wetlands self drive - excellent. Werribee Historic Mansion, rose gardens, lake and grounds, historic workers huts, and info - outstanding. Spent an entire day there without it having been on our original itinerary! Zoo and wineries adjacent, but didn't have time to visit.

    I have to say that the location of the property suited us...

    I have to say that the location of the property suited us well but I also need to emphasise that it is the MOST UNCLEANED property I have ever stayed in, in my 75 years on this earth. See earlier response. The instructions provided to the wifi password were incorrect. We located the password on the base of the router. We needed to reboot the wifi to get it to work but it still did not enable us to reach some of our programmes.

    The problem of the toilet bidet caused me trouble ; I had migraine and couldn’t fell asleep easily; the second night it was too noisy after 12 as well people outside were speaking loudly and couldn’t fell asleep easily as well ; other wise was clean and tidy and close to many amenities and we found parking off the street easily

    The view from our room was awful but we were only there for...

    The view from our room was awful but we were only there for one night and got there late. I had asked for a room on the upper floors but we were put on the first floor. Bed was comfortable but shower head could not be adjusted which was annoying.

    Great place to stay and experience different cuisines.

    Great place to stay and experience different cuisines. We stayed for a horse event and enjoyed walking through the city centre. Great river walk and so many restaurants and bars. We loved it. Great place to come for a getaway that wont cost the earth.

    Hotel service was amazing. 😊 Room was lovely hated the bathrooms just not practical. Stayed in Junior suite with courtyard view. Changed rooms as air con not working. Staff here bend over backwards for their guests nothing was to much trouble. The pool spa jets were great so strong my back needed that, pool is lovely but a bit hot for laps. Joseph's restaurant does not deliver to rooms, in room dining choices are from the Mansions cafe. Wraps, cheese sandwich etc offered only. 😕

    The location was perfect for where we needed to be, could not have been happier. It was within walking distance to the main street of Werribee, so all the restaurants and shops were literally at our doorstep. The unit was clean, the beds were comfortable, there was plenty of equipment in the kitchen and it was a great size. The shower was hot and amazing!. It was very secure and having the parking space behind closed gates was fantastic.

    Highly recommend Holiday Inn Werribee if you’re after a great place to stay in Werribee, or just out of town from Melbourne. The hotel was modern and very cosy, and had everything you could need for a short stay in a Studio Apartment. The restaurant is great as well, buffet breakfast was brilliant.

    A complete house with everything you need. There was a bottle of pasta. cereal, rice, spices, oil etc was given conveniently to use. Supermarkets & shopping mall walking distance. Open zoo 13 minutes away.
