The facility was prepped, the house, pool and bathroom rack - everything pre- heated based on late check in Time. There was a warm old lady to cook and an old security guard for care taking. Near by markets to get basics and cook by ourselves.

The place is absolutely beautiful — peaceful nature all around, fresh mountain air, and a super cozy cabin that felt like home the second I walked in. Everything was clean, well-kept, and thoughtfully arranged. The service was amazing — everything ran smoothly and the attention to detail really showed. But what truly made the experience special were the people. The hosts were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and generous. You don’t just feel like a guest — you feel like family. If you're looking for a magical escape into nature with top-notch hospitality and real human warmth, this is the spot. Can't recommend it enough!

Zaur and his family are the sweetest people ever- they deserve a 10+ rating just for how comfortable and at ease they made us feel. They do not speak fluent English, but we managed to make ourselves understood using Google translate. The guest house is clean and cozy- while the main hall is warm, the rooms can get cold at night especially. The toilet is outside the main house, as others have mentioned. However, as we were aware of all this before booking, none of it mattered. The location is spectacular- most beautiful views and walks nearby! Khinaliq was snow covered when we visited, which was delightful. Overall highly recommend for anyone who wishes for a unique and authentic local homestay experience in one of the most beautiful locations in Azerbaijan.
