Hotel Višegrad has perfect location, right next to Drina river and the Bridge on Drina, so you can see it from the room, and have meals and drinks in the restaurant with this magnificent view. They gave us Andrić suit, as they had it available, so entire stay was truly special experience. Food is fantastic, breakfast a la carte, so no hassle with the buffet. People who work there are really kind and attentive. All in all, we're thankful for the great time we had there and hope to repeat it some time.

The accommodation was exceptionally clean. It exceeded our expectations. The location was amazing. Walking distance to everything. We found the place was specious and offered every convenience. As a family of 5 we rarely if ever stayed in a place where the hosts thought of everything. I belive the beauty and what makes a place feel amazing is in the details and here there was plenty. From the beautifully embroided and crisp white linen and towels, slippers and bathrobes to all necessary toiletry items and of course coffee . Everything to make you feel relaxed. Worked amazing for a family stay but I feel it would be amazing for a couple needing a relaxing getaway. Thank you to our hosts.

Our stay was short, but sweet. The hosts were very welcoming and considerate, even though the location is easy to get to, they met us along the way and helped us get to the destination. They showed us all appliances and answered any questions we had. We had two sets of pillows we could choose from - one soft and one firm, which is very much appreciated. We had our own parking space. The appartment is spacious, well equipped and has a beautiful balcony overlooking the city. The location is very quiet and safe, a great place to rest during your journey or stay a bit longer. 10/10 would recommend and would love to come back.

    Visegrad is beautiful. It has everything. The river , the bridge, book stores, monasteries and people funny to watch and interact. I am thinking for long term stay, Ivo Andric knew what he was doing. Maybe that is the perfect city for your pension to write the book of your life. The natives here will say: “ It is almost too perfect, because is too calm”.

    The biggest problem are the traffic connections,of you're not travelling by your own car.The city has great historical values and the nature beauties are impressive.The prople are very friendly and nice and the prices aren't high at all.Recommendable

    Small but lively place.

    Small but lively place. Historic Mehmed Paša Sokolović bridge is definitely a sight to see, but could use some information on historical context, apart from what Andric imagined. Andricgrad / Kamengrad on the other hand is an excellent example of quasi - historic site, and interesting only in that regard.

    The bridge depicted by Andric in his Nobel prize novel is simply beautiful and emanates history with each of stone blocks. The boat trip is also nice experience and useful to learn some more details about Visegrad, the Drina river and whole area. Andricgrad has great potential but needs some efforts, content and possibly, investment to become another exceptional landmark.
