I loved all aspects of the hotel!!! Great location just a short walk away from the city centre, very safe, super friendly staff, clean rooms and very comfortable. They have a cute library area/ lounge where you can work if you don't want to stay in your room or once you have checked out and need to wait for a couple of hours. They also have a storage room that is very helpful if you want to go for a walk and leaving in the evening. There are some road works going on, but it's totally silent in the area where the hotel is located. I really loved this hotel and made my experience memorable! Thank you so much!!!

The breakfast was fantastic. Lots of variety of food, nice and hot, with lots of drinks and healthy food with the local cuisine and other types. The staff kept everything topped up and were really friendly and helpful. Our room was beautiful- lovely wallpaper, with a generous sized bedroom and lots of space for putting luggage away, a desk and a chair. Bathroom was also generous- lovely large shower and a bath with a good sized wardrobe. The hotel was located in a quiet area but close enough to walk to cafes, restaurants and the main part of town (30 mins) an easy walk if you like walking. The facilities, with a pool (billiards) room, and courtyard and sitting area with coffee and tea available at all hours was well serviced.

    Brussels is a wonderful town for world travelers.

    Brussels is a wonderful town for world travelers. It has the most beautiful Market Square in the world, the Grand Place; little cobblestone streets that make you feel transported in another time; restaurants and bars at every corner. You can eat anything you want, and drink wine, champagne, or beers: after all, Belgium is where good beers were invented. The urban decor is fantastic. And you meet up in the street with people from all over the world, all of them enjoying the scenery and the food and drinks.

    Enjoyed Grote Market and seeing the other sites of the city. Waffles were overrated. Chocolate was very good. You can bathe in the history and architecture of the city and that was wonderful. Surprised that it was not especially clean and the graffiti seemed everywhere. These issues soiled an otherwise great lady. It is only a short train ride to Bruges and I would recommend the day trip.

    Very pedestrian friendly, but the city needs better signage, especially from a seniors perspective..not everyone can navigate the city by phone, and even if you could better sign would help..eg I could not find one sign for the Toot bus, because it was so hidden on the regular bus stop, who could tell?

    Ibis Hotel Brussels Centre Midi is very close to Railway Station. We had tea at a restaurant on the other side of the railway station, as we couldn't find anything that we fancied around the hotel. You can't park cars around the railway station on Saturday nights as they have a street market on Sunday Morning and the Police remove any cars parked where the street market is held. It wasn't really that clear where parking wasn't allowed, which we didn't need to clarify, as we arrived and departed by train. Enjoyed what we saw of Brussels.

    We stayed 3 nights in this hotel. Staff were friendly, bed was comfy. Room was comfortable and very quiet. Modern bathroom with shower. Bus stop for city center (no. 66) was very close. Reasonable selection of restaurants and bars within walking distance. Fee airport shuttle was very convenient. Carrefour and Lidl are nearby in case of snacks. There are a couple of restaurants and a few takeaways around as well. Overall we really enjoyed our time in Brussels and our stay in this hotel.

    Great place for staying in Brussels! 15 minute walk to the city center, also has lots of restaurants nearby, as well as the Bruxelles Central Station at just 5 minute’s walk, which is great, because you can take a train from the airport to the city and arrive to the hotel in just minutes, as well as taking trains to other cities like Antwerp. We will be staying here again for a next visit!
