As a firearms enthusiast and gunsmith I would have loved to see the FN factory and museum. Unfortunately I was there for work and didn’t have much time to explore the area well. However on daily trips to work we saw a fair bit of the immediate surroundings . We stayed in Herstal during a city trip to Hasselt, Tongeren and Alden Biesen. Fantastic deal! Close to the motorway but no noise of traffic in the room.
