This property is really well-situated in the Liege area of the Ardennes, and is walkable/short car ride to a lot of nice hikes (eg, Hoegne valley). The gite itself is very lovely and well-taken-care-of (feels brand new, actually). The owners are delightful and very helpful. Charlotte makes delicious food that you can also order to the gite if you don't want to cook for yourself or venture out - we had a lovely quiche lunch one day. Grocery stores etc. are quite close (5-10 mins by car) though if you want to get your own supplies.

    The perfect start of a beautiful experience.

    The perfect start of a beautiful experience. Getting around was a little tricky in the beginning (we booked a Hotel off-road and GPS didn't show it correctly, but we found old school sign posts. We consider the area (river Hoëgne valley) Belgium's Puck's Glenn (if you know where that is). It's a walk with beautiful cascades and bridges along a very active river. The scenery is amazing. Would highly recommend Le Chalet du Pont de Belleheid, an inn/restaurant with terrace overlooking the Hoëgne, the perfect place to have a coffee to start the walks, or have a good meal when you return. Lotsa parking around, you can even drive THROUGH the river ("pont", it's not really a bridge) to have more parking spaces. Accessible for people with less mobility.

    Great location, 2 minutes away from Vervieres bus stop, quiet and beautiful street, picturesque village. Very spacious apartment in an old historical building, nice interior garden with space for parking. Everything needed insight and our host was always willing to help us. She allowed us to check-in very early in the morning with no extra cost. Great Pizza restaurant just by the corner; 20 minutes by car to the F1 circuit.

They have recommended the following addresses for dinner: https://www.vieuxhetre.be/restaurant.html They have got excellent prepared quality beef steaks with tasty fried potatoes and a small salad combined with good wines and regional Spa water.     The house was lovely and extremely comfortable. The hosts were amazing- very welcoming and friendly. They made us feel at home, gave restaurant recommendations and made a great breakfast the next day. I would definitely recommend staying here!

    The hotel is nice, the staff very friendly and helpful and the breakfast croissants were great. We enjoyed the nice bathroom and the extra space in the living room with a coach. We had a good nights sleep and enjoyed our overall stay.

    Everything was perfect. The location, price, interior design (it is a refurbished stable). So cozy, warm and charming. Restaurant next door offers great food for reasonable price.
