Hostellerie Kemmelberg is in a stunning but rather sad location as it overlooks "Flanders Field" where there are memorials to WW1 fighters every few km, including one 200 m down the lane. The location is great, the food can be excellent, BUT be warned, you are fed at the discretion of an arrogant and dismissive Chef, who is entirely happy for you to wait 2 hours between courses, while he potters about doing other things.
