The hotel building was good.
The hotel building was good. The spa was very small and inadequate. The restaurant was very, very bad. All the food was either stale food in the microwave or ready-made frozen food (pizza). The grilled meat dish had a very bad smell, we couldn't eat it. It was an off-season stay. You shouldn't use the restaurant in off-season stays. Shiroka Laka is a traditional Rhodope Mountain village that has preserved some of the most beautiful Bulgarian traditions. It is in the heart of the mountain surrounded by woods of pine trees. There you can see traditional bulgarian house and enjoy delicious food. If you want a peaceful and relaxing vacation in the heart of Rhodope Mountains this is the place to be. Shiroka Luka is one of the best traditional for Rhodope Mountain villages. Pretty narrow streets, beautiful houses with small gardens full of flowers and all this beauty in the middle of old huge green pine trees! We found a fantastic place to eat as well- with delicious Rhodopian cuisine and very kind and friendly staff- unfortunately I can not remember the name right now but is easy to find it . There is a hotel as well and it is Bulgarian, traditional.Guest review bySvetlaMalta
