Everyone was amazing during our stay. Friendly, Helpful, and Cheerful. Food at the restaurant was so very delicious and the ambiance was top notch! Set up a great river tour for us to Lamanai…loved it!

Beautiful property with lots of wildlife. The resort restaurant was excellent for dinner with live music. The live music ended at 10:30 so it didn't distract from our sleep.

The property manager Asiel went above and beyond to help us! The room was clean, the AC was cold, and the shower was hot! The mosquito nets were not necessary as we had NO flying bug issues! We enjoyed listening to the birds and seeing lizards and leaf cutter ants. Great location for where we needed to be. Enjoyed a delicious breakfast at the restaurant near the front of the resort.

Ricky! What a wonderful host. Goes out of his way to help out and accommodate all travellers. Always smiling. Thank you, Ricky! Excellent location - close to the bus station, good cafes (try Maria's Bakeshop - fantastic chai, frappuccinos, huge quesadillas, and Maria is the nicest person :) ), supermarkets, the river. If you're a runner, there are good streets for running near the hostel - easily did a nice 11km. Excellent kitchen, and gorgeous pet dogs.

Great location if you are exploring Lamanai Maya site, regardless if you are going on the boat or with the car, nice view of the lagoon, friendly staff, great medium priced restaurant (I wouldn't eat anywhere else in Orange, looked very run down), spacious room with balcony and AC. Improvements needed ... dirty balcony and bathroom with animal poop, i don't know what they do daily except made the bed as nothing was cleaned ... no signs anywhere where to park where to check in (smart thing is to come during the daylight), very soft old matresses, no drinks menu at the bar so you hope they charge you correctly. Few small improvements can make this place 9, and maybe some rooms were 9 but ours was 7. Would stay again for 1 night.

We only walked around town for a bit in the one morning that we were there. I doubt whether there's much in Orange Walk to stay for but there are things you can do outside town that would probably be worth it.

Orange Walk is a walkable town along a river with a few markets, shops, restaurants, and hotels. Day and Night Hotel seemed to be one of the better ones. Buses run frequently on the main road and taxis are available. It was a 2.5 hour ride from Belize City.
