It’s a lovely place!
It’s a lovely place! Close enough to Banff - 15 minutes - to be able to get there easily. But not nearly as crowded! The town itself has lovely open streets to enjoy and plenty of restaurants and breweries to add to the experience. We loved the drive over to Banff with such amazing mountain views! Canmore is a beautiful town with a fantastic position in the Rockies. We have been going regularly for several years and in my view it is being spoilt by a rush to build, build, build and its character is in serious danger of being ruined.
