We arrived at the Inn in the dark, but it gave the impression of a clean lobby. Since we were on the upper floor, we took the stair which were clean up to our room as I did not see an elevator. I was so tired from the day, so I passed out on the bed but had less than a comfortable sleep on a rock of a mattress that was so firm, it looked like someone ironed the mattress itself with starch! I was thankful I did not have to stay any longer than 1 night.

We wanted to visit a location well to the north of Calgary, and this hotel was the closest one with availability (about 1 week before we wanted in - in late September). The staff were very polite and efficient - the rooms spacious (although somewhat dated), and very clean and well equipped. No complaints at all.

I saved about $200 from any other hotel I could find when I needed one in this area. Excellent restaurant beside the building. Lovely owners. Very clean room. Air conditioning was welcome on the hot day as was the refrigerator as I was bringing freshly caught pickerel back with me.

Clean and well maintained older small town hotel. Friendly manager. Easy to get to. Realistic price for area during peak tourist season. Large room.
