Everything was wonderful. But the breakfast buffet was just amazing! Worth every penny! Staff are all so friendly and helpful. Casino is huge and loads of fun. Outdoor pool was a great surprise for us.

    I love Gatineau, it was my childhood home.

    I love Gatineau, it was my childhood home. It is very beautiful, however, with all the construction, long weekend traffic & Ironman rally detours unbeknownst to us tourists, plus a couple fender benders, traffic was horrific for getting around.

    Gatineau has a long history as the entertainment centre for dull-after-dark Ottawa. Did not fail this tme as the Duvernay is near Gatineau centre- bars and restaurants, fabulous Canadian history museum, a pleasant walk across the river to centre of Ottawa, much more reasonable accommodation

    Gatineau has so many things do!!

    Gatineau has so many things do!! From going to the museum of history to see all the exhibitions and activities they have there. Then enjoy outdoor activities at the Gatineau park doing cycling, hiking, walking looking to beautiful scenery views at the lake Pink!!. Then finish you journey a great restaurants ad bars. Highly recommended!!

    The place was not as represented in the booking.com add.

    The place was not as represented in the booking.com add. The buliding was a low concrete block structure separate and some distance from the check in location. Looked like a warehouse. The room was bare bones and the ac didnt work. The shower leaked onto the bathroom floor and was unusable. We had booked for a week but checked out after one night. Would not book there again.

    Great shopping for food at La Marche Wakim and La Grains de boites with helpful and friendly shopkeepers. Astoria Bistro Botanical (sp) is the BEST vegan restaurant in the National Capital region with fantastic food, GREAT service and superior facilities. whether you are driving.biking, walking or taking pubic transit getting around Gatineau and into downtown Ottawa is EASY. AVOID Shopping Mall the week of Christmas

    For the Vegetarian in your life try La Belle Verte or Astoria Bistro. The Parks in Gatineau have plenty of equipment to entertain my VERY ACTIVE 5 year old granddaughter and close by is the Children's Museum.. It is easy to get around by car, bus or Bike. There is quiet a bit of road work going on at present

    Nicole was fantastic. Personally texted us to arrange Time of arrival, then guided us in as there was a lot of construction with road closures nearby. She was a wealth of knowledge helping plan of visit of the area, Hull and Ottawa. Her ideas saved us much headache. Free parking. A couple of great restaurants nearby. The hostess was the tipping point for a positive stay.
