Very dirty place, the windows inside and outside have...
Very dirty place, the windows inside and outside have spiders and cob webs everywhere. The bathroom has mold and the shower pressure is either too low or too hard . The water leaks everywhere including the unit underneath. The rooms are freezing during the night and there is no comforter to go with the white flat sheet, not enough towels or toilet paper. The entire place needs to be renovated otherwise the view is beautiful. It's not worth paying 300$ or more per night.Guest review byHomairaCanada - 10.0
The Kawartha Lakes is a tourist area.
The Kawartha Lakes is a tourist area. If you own a yacht, motor boat, canoe, or bicycle, there are plenty of opportunities to get out in nature. The towns of Bobcaygeon and Buckhorn have plenty of places to eat and shop. Both are walkable and, in season, bustling. The folks you encounter on the street and in the commercial venues are friendly and helpful. If you wanted to get away from it all and put your feet up, this region provides the environment. In fact, this is cottage country and folks from the city like to escape to the relaxed pace and quiet. This review was written in July.
