The host was friendly and upgraded me to a large room and when he saw me arrive immediately gave me to cold bottles of water. He also offered me a coffee and some fruit for breakfast which was unexpected.

I like Kincardine and visited it before.

I like Kincardine and visited it before. The bad experience was with the Save Inn motel which I do not recommend to anyone! I booked two rooms 12 days in advance and when I got there they had all rooms booked and occupied so I had do return home a 2.5hr trip. It ruined our weekend. Unforgivable!

Very nice small town vibe. Love the downtown area

Very nice small town vibe. Love the downtown area Lots of little shops to discover. Lots of pub/restaurants to either sit in or on the patio. The patio at The Bruce has a nice back patio overlooking the marina. The breeze was a little cool but it would be a great place to watch the sunset on a hot summer night.

The Erie Bell is a great family restuarant.

The Erie Bell is a great family restuarant. The food is really good and the service is friendly and quick. The shops are usually closed the time I go but check out Mill Creek Chocolate Store and Fischer across from it which has books toys and souveriners

Beautiful and lively historical town (mind you it was summer) with lots of restaurants to choose from. During the summer they seem to have something special free going on downtown every weekend we were treated to a very impressive car show and open air concert. Beautiful waterfront with beach and parking as well as walking trails. Close to the Bruce Nuclear power plant where you can get a free tour. Lots of other little towns around to explore. Easy day trip up to Tobermory and back through Wiarton with lots of stops along the way.

    Beautiful town.

Beautiful town. Wonderful people who treat you like their neighbours. Great restaurants. Don't let the main street being torn up deter you it adds to the ambience and the merchant's desperately need tourist support during the ongoing improvements. Fantastic festivals!!!!!

Amazing beach - clean and clear.

Amazing beach - clean and clear. Lovely white sand, shallow blue cool waters. Small play area by the beach, and a small walk way into the waters which is a also a strategic location to view the amazing sunset. Dont miss the bagpiper music played from the lighthouse at sunset! Its a small town and all dine ins close by 9pm.

The breakfast was terrible. It was the worst that I have had at a hotel. The eggs were rubbery, the very cheap plastic knife had trouble cutting them. They were not hot, had a fishy taste. They may have been left from the day before. The waffles were ĥard to cut as they were over çooked(cheap knife). Coffee was too watery. The sausages were gross. No bacon.

Perfect location, spacious room, very clean, friendly staff. Kincardine is a very nice town with beautiful water front hiking trails. The downtown is also very interesting with many historical buildings.
