Featuring the best views of the awesome waterfall sharing its name, Canada’s Niagara Falls is a small city promising more than just a stunning insight into the power of nature.
By day, view the falls from the riverfront promenade, or for an up-close-and-personal experience, the Hornblower Niagara Cruise takes you right into the swell. Rain ponchos are provided. Alternatively, there’s the Journey Behind the Falls – a walk through the rock behind Niagara. Handy portholes help you to experience the thundering water.
Slightly downstream are the American Falls, less well-known and less impressive, but worth a look. At night, both falls get illuminated by coloured lights – an incredible sight. Further downstream is the Rainbow Bridge which you can walk across to get an American stamp in your passport. Just check your visa requirements first.
The city itself has 7 golf courses – one is close to the river, so be careful with your swing! Other Niagara Falls attractions include casinos, cinemas and Marineland Canada, featuring the world's largest whale habitat for viewing orcas both above ground and below.

The trip to Niagara Falls was amazing.
The trip to Niagara Falls was amazing. I would visit during the week cause the weekends are packed. It was easy to park and walk around. We eat at the Queen Victoria Restaurant which had a magnificent view and was delicious. Don’t forget your souvenirs. Make sure to drive the Niagara River Parkway both directions for scenery. Stayed at Niagara Falls at least 10 times. Great for a change. Used to stay 2-3 nights. Now going for only 1 night. Live within 2 hour drive from Niagara Falls. Newest kid on the Block, " Niagara takes flight.". 3D movie with sensation of moving across the Niagara region. Amazingly well done. A bit pricey -- $32.75 -- for a 10 minute movie. The pre-movie introductions (20 minutes) was not really worth it. It was probably added to make the total duration to 30 minutes and justify the entrance fee.Guest review byHyderCanada - 10.0
What a special and magnificent place!
What a special and magnificent place! The falls are unbelievable. We went Behind the Falls and we were so glad we did that - much better than taking a boat. Enjoyed dinner with drinks at the Table Rock Bistro and Wine Bar, overlooking the falls. Enjoyed desserts and drinks on the 26th floor of the Tower Hotel at Fallsview, also overlooking the falls. Plenty to do, international feel. A little pricey, and a bit touristy, but it is all to be expected when visiting the 8th "wonder of the world".
