Very expensive. Especially the restaurants. Area was ok. It was a reasonable ride to Vancouver, not far from the airport. We felt safe in the area where Sandman is. Only had 2 days - we used the Canada line to get to the waterfront then free shuttle to grouse mountain Canada line to waterfront then an uber to a cycle hire shop cycled round Stanley park and false creek. Then walked back to waterfront station for metro back to Aberdeen station across the road from the hotel. Are 2 nights at the Tap house near the convention centre.
