Victoria is a beautiful place! 😍 There's lots to see & do. The buildings are stunning. The harbour is so pretty. It is quite clean mostly. Good parking. Nice restaurants near the harbour. Felt very safe in the day. But not so much at night, as there's a big homeless problem sadly. Beacon Hill Park is absolutely perfect! Favourite part & the beach too. Wonderful 2 days. Stayed at The Grand Pacific Hotel..which was awesome too. Highly recommend. Food at Milestones Bar & Grill by the harbour is definitely worth it. We enjoyed visiting the Gorge near our hotel and would have liked to have more time to walk the park there. We found driving in the city confusing and would have liked bigger road signs to help us navigate. So much to see and do.
So much to see and do. Victoria offers a plethora of options and a beautiful backdrop for all. As a group of women we spent time rummaging through an antique and thrift store, visited a trendy market and experienced a “Scottish high tea”. Something for everyone! Always the downside to any large city is the traffic but with some patience and a good navigator traversing the city is very doable…and there are many tour buses that offer the best option.Guest review byMaxineCanada - 10

The harbour area was great, the architecture was beautiful to look at and the parks are gorgeous. We did a whale watching tour and saw many different whales and other wildlife- it was superb. I love Victoria .
I love Victoria . It's a beautiful , sophisticated city with a small town feel in that it is relaxing and fun to just wander around the downtown area . I particularly like the Inner Harbour. Also recommend Butchart Gardens and the Japanese Garden along the Waterway, where you'll see beautiful views as well as weddings parties being photographed.Guest review byAnonymous
