What Guests Said About Victoria:

Victoria is beautiful and manageable city to explore.

Victoria is beautiful and manageable city to explore. Its Parliament House, Fairmont Hotel and harbour location make it very attractive. Victoria's wildlife cruises are exceptional, the scenic flights were popular and its museum was interesting. The spectacular Butchart Gardens are nearby as is the Malahat Sky Walk and the natural beauty of Vancouver Island is easily accessible from Victoria. We found the BC public transport excellent and affordable joining up with the BC Ferries efficiently. The ferry crossing was an experience in itself! Victoria has a range of excellent restaurants Around the harbour there was quality Japanese and Italian as well as pub food and fish and chips.. A special place to go!

Victoria is a beautiful place! 😍 There's lots to see & do. The buildings are stunning. The harbour is so pretty. It is quite clean mostly. Good parking. Nice restaurants near the harbour. Felt very safe in the day. But not so much at night, as there's a big homeless problem sadly. Beacon Hill Park is absolutely perfect! Favourite part & the beach too. Wonderful 2 days. Stayed at The Grand Pacific Hotel..which was awesome too. Highly recommend. Food at Milestones Bar & Grill by the harbour is definitely worth it. Food was delicious & staff were so kind.

We enjoyed visiting the Gorge near our hotel and would have liked to have more time to walk the park there. We found driving in the city confusing and would have liked bigger road signs to help us navigate. All the right and left hand turn lanes at intersections were difficult for a visitor unused to the city.

So much to see and do.

So much to see and do. Victoria offers a plethora of options and a beautiful backdrop for all. As a group of women we spent time rummaging through an antique and thrift store, visited a trendy market and experienced a “Scottish high tea”. Something for everyone! Always the downside to any large city is the traffic but with some patience and a good navigator traversing the city is very doable…and there are many tour buses that offer the best option.

We were welcomed as if we were the most important guests ever to check in. Quiet location yet so close to downtown and the Mayfair Mall. The young man at the desk ( Eric? - I am sorry not sure) was so polite and helpful. Your restaurant was closed for renovations ( not mentioned on your web site) and we had invited friends to join us for breakfast. Hie recommendation was superb. Without doubt, you are our go to hotel in Victoria

The Helm’s Inn is a wonderful old, quaint (but beautifully modernized) hotel in the heart of downtown Victoria. The accommodation was incredibly spacious with two rooms and a small kitchenette at the end of the living room. Staff were welcoming and helpful, the facility was very clean, and all the Victoria sights were within easy walking distance. A perfect spot to stay!

Amazing location - so easy to walk everywhere in downtown Victoria. The set up of the room was gorgeous (although the seats could have been more comfy in the lounge). Bed was very comfy, everything was lovely and clean. We had an issue with the door code but someone arrived to help us really quickly and was super helpful. Would recommend staying here.
