Staff is great, as is the hotel room and the restaurant. Kinshasa isn't for everyone. Try to arrive at a non-rush hour time, if you can. Need taxis to get around. What's great is that many rooms have a view of the Congo River.

Ixoras Hotel Victoire is an oasis of peace and calm in Kinshasa. Clean, comfortable, electricity working and water running, the aircon a lifesaver. The complimentary breakfast is quite good, too. But most of all it is the staff and security people that makes this place; very friendly, helpful. Especially the Indian manager goes out of his way to make your stay comfortable and is always available for any questions or help. I really enjoyed my stay here. Thanks everybody!
