Everything was wonderful! Only 10-15 min from German-Swiss border in Konstanz. We are family with 4 adults and 1 kid and we had Appartment 1 on the ground floor with big windows and at the quite side. The appartment was very clean, fresh, stylish and comfortable. The kitchen had everything. Only 1 tea cup was missing, but it was not a problem.

    Berg is perfectly located to have a trip towards the Lake of Constance or towards the Alps. It is situated in the middle of the Thurgau countryside, not far from really good local vineyards. While there is not much to do in the village itself apart from wandering, the location is really nice and quiet as a HQ for a star-shaped travel holiday. Säntis mountain is only about an hour drive away, St Gallen half an hour, Konstanz 15 minutes. The view on the Alps is stunning. Eat at the Gasthaus zum Bahnhof. Great local food and wines, not overpriced but not your everyday pizza-place either. Count about 70 chf for a dinner including a pint and 2 dl wine, a starter and small version of a main course (which would be the regular version of most people). You can reach Berg by bus, train or car, so easy-peasy. Biking and hiking are options of course.
