We knew the place and various activities are offered: biking...
We knew the place and various activities are offered: biking, walking, fishing, paddling, swimming, ... . There is a lovely alpine garden and we can visit an underground military fortification. Hiking to well-know refuges is possible (Orny, Trient). Don't miss Zaric's sculpture. There is a small one in the alpine garden. Panorama from Belvedere (easy walk) or Splendid hotel is beautiful. Apparently, there is a SPA in the new trendy / design hotel next to the lake. I believe non-resident can hire by hour (to be checked). Champex is not far to Gorges Durnand.Guest review byPhil. Champex Lac is a charming village that offers a wide range of outdoor activities, like skiing, hiking, kayaking on the lake, swimming, tennis. It is very suitable for family holidays in winter and summer. The environment is very beautiful. Impressives mountains, woods and small villages.
