Fiesch is located very centrally in Uber Wallis.
Fiesch is located very centrally in Uber Wallis. The perfect base to organize your trips from. Locally you have the Cable car to Fiescher-Alp and Eggishorn. Several walks of 5 to 10 Km loops are passing in Fiesch. In less than a one-hour drive, you can reach the passes Grimsel, Furka, Simplon, and Gottart. Close by you can also find Binn which is a great spot for 1-day hikes on a higher altitude. Fiesch has all the shops you could need. Fuel and resto are a bit cheaper than in the big cities. Very convenient location - can easily go to the Goms valley to do cross-country skiing and also go the opposite direction to the Aletsch glacier and most beautiful hikes or downhill skiing.
