Gandria was a beautiful village.
Gandria was a beautiful village. It is carless and has lots of stone steps, so it requires basic fitness levels and working knees. The old rustic buildings were gorgeous and there are a few places that provide access to swim in the lake. Locanda Gandriese was the best restaurant we ate at for the entire trip. It was also good to be able to access the small coffee area, sink and fridge. Gandria itself was lovely for a visit and the property was right by the bus stop so we were able to take the bus directly from Lugano train station.
