We had afternoon coffee and cake and breakfast at a local Cafe called Suard. Definitely a place for locals. The cake and breads were fabulous. Service exceptional. The area is quite industrial but in the foothills of forest and the countryside. Perhaps a 10 minute drive from the picturesque city of Fribourg which we sadly didn't have time to visit. We ate dinner in the Escale restaurant and could not fault anything, service, food and incredibly authentic and delicious. If you get a chance to stay Saturday night your in for a real treat as 200+ ladies and gentlemen descend on the Hall for 'Bingo' night. wonderfully old school and everyone really friendly.Guest review byLucieUnited Kingdom
