You will often make a point of saying "A visit to XXX is only 15 mins away by car" Fine - but if it is possible to use Public Transport to reach XXX say so. Make sure your maps show railways! Amazing swimming pool with several pools suitable for all ages and abilities, including an outdoor thermal bath with jacuzzis. The ice rink was up when we were there, lots of nearby cafes and pubs. Lovely riverside walks and great playpark/animal centre between Saanen and Gstaad. Many train and bus connections. Several gondolas up to mountain restaurants and views and walks. The breakfast was very generous and of high quality. The staff were beyond friendly and helpful, an absolute delight to stay at the hotel. The spa area is another delight to relax and enjoy nicely heated pool plus sauna and steam bath rooms. The location is ideal if you want to use train or stroll in town close to all happenings in the lovely town of Gstaad. We enjoyed thoroughly our stay and hope to visit it at another time again. The terrace has a nice view of the mountains. The hosts were very welcoming. The chalet seems to be new and is very clean. The slopes for skiing were closed, but we could ski in the slopes from the nearby stations. We used a car, so it was very convenient, but there is also a bus station right in front of the property. However, buses circulate only once per hour until 7-8 PM. There is also private parking. We had a very nice stay close to Gstaad.Guest review byCorinaSwitzerland
