The views were amazing! The kitchen is fully equipped and made cooking easy. There’s also a dishwasher. The bus stop is in front of the stay so that was perfect, especially with all the luggage we had. You could also easily walk to the station. Lukas & Filipa were great hosts. They did not bother us during our stay. All by all great stay and would book again.

I spent one night at Apartment Breithorn in Lauterbrunnen and couldn’t be happier with the experience. The Chalet Elza is the perfect accommodation for a hiking and relaxation weekend in the Lauterbrunnen and Interlaken region. The apartment is very cozy and perfectly equipped (it even has a sauna). The owners of the apartment Dave and Patricia are also incredibly friendly and helpful. They provided us with plenty of information in advance, lit the fireplace before our arrival upon request, and even helped us with our luggage when we arrived. We will definitely come back!

The apartment is great and well equipped. The location is great with an amazing view. We had a great stay and we do recommend this accommodation! The owner was very kind and reactive by WhatsApp. We even had the possibility to leave our luggages to enjoy a last tour before getting our train.

We stayed 3 nights here. Beautiful home on the Main Street of Lauterbrunnen. Easy walk from the train station. Spacious for a family of 6. They had coffee that was provided… which was a nice touch.

    Swiss alpine village - just what I was looking for.

    Swiss alpine village - just what I was looking for. We had sunny days and a couple of rainy days, both were breathtaking in their own right. Nice connection too to Murren, Wengen, and Interlaken. At night, when the day tours have left, you can have the village "all for yourself" and that experience was almost divine.

    Beautiful valley with the option of a lot of great hikes in the area. It is also a convenient location if you are driving as you can not drive to Murren or Wengen so Lauterbrunnen is a good base with a variety of activities

    Lauterbrunnen is a good place to base yourself for the Jungfrau region. It has an excellent train service to various places, by train and cable car. The Coop shop had lots of choice for your evening meal, plus there are many restaurants and bars to choose from too. The town was very clean and pretty with flower boxes at many of the windows. The Information Centre is very close to the train station. The trains were amazing - they ran on time to the minute, and were clean and comfortable. The many waterfalls, and in particular the thunderous Trummelbach Falls on the outskirts of the town were outstanding. You can climb up into the Staubbach falls from the town park. The town has an outdoor swimming pool but we were too busy to try it out. An important thing to stress is, if you can buy a travel pass, it will save you money. Its just knowing which one to get that is tricky.

    We thought it was the poor cousin of Grindewald but having now been to both, we would again and again stay in Lauterbrunnen. A much more authentic place filled with sport enthusiast and not just day trippers taking Instagram shots.

    Most of the Lauterbrunnen hotels are around the train...

    Most of the Lauterbrunnen hotels are around the train station and easy access to interlaken, Grindelwald, wengan. You can take the cable car to go to murren and to other surrounding villages. There is a coop super market to buy food. Environment is very beautiful. Bus service also available to go round the nearby villages.

    Lauterbrunnen is a beautiful small Swiss Village surrounded by the Swiss Alps that is walkable and centrally located with easy access to cable cars, bus, and trains to visit other areas. The waterfalls, crystal blue river, wild flowers, and mountains are absolutely beautiful!

    Amazing place. Great location. The view is amazing. Close to the river. The rooms were fine and exactly how you'd expected them to be. They were very clean. The staff was friendly and gave us great suggestions. They had small market on place and offered everything you need (supplies, food, coffee, etc.). Even if there is a shared bathroom for several rooms, everything was very clean. We traveled to Germany and a bit of Switzerland with our teenage boys, and this was their favorite stay so far.

    Everything is superb from check-in to check-out, especially customer service. No need to specifically mention the location as the hotel is located in heavenly place with beautiful views throughout our stay. I missed to ask his name, guy in front office is very kind and supportive. In last day its heavily raining and we stuck up with kid, guy offered us the raincoats and it's highly appreciated and heartwarming. Will highly recommend this stay for everyone who visits Lauterbrunnen.

    Their breakfast has more variety than other hotels that we stayed in Switzerland. They have a pantry to heat up food and a dinner place to take your meal. That's was beyond my expectation! We bought food from Coops and have our dinner there. That helps us to save a lot ! Our room is a family suite and the view was excellent as you can see from the photos, its just like a oil painting. Thumb up and will recommend friends who want to go Lauterbrunn.

    A charming hotel, very close to Lauterbrunnen train station and a perfect base to explore the region. We stayed in a Holz Valley View room which had beautiful views over the valley including Staubbach Falls. The room was fresh and modern - more than I would normally expect from a 3-star hotel. Lovely helpful staff complete the picture. We would happily stay again.

    Nice hotel in Lauterbrunnen. Very cosy, staff is friendly and I think no need to say anything about the location – it's Lauterbrunnen! Balcony with a wonderful view is awesome. There's also a great restaurant in the hotel, the food was delicious. Overall we had a wonderful stay and would definitely be happy to return to this place.
