The staff was exceptionally friendly and welcoming. The food was superb. We throughly enjoyed the fireplace in our junior suite which was spacious, warm, and inviting. Every little detail was thought of from hooks in the right places to enough hangars to coffee pods. The hotel is beautifully decorated, reflecting its long history. It's obvious that the family is very proud of their hotel and deservedly so.

Friendly staff clean room with all that was needed

We received a warm welcome from the moment we entered the parking lot. The local treats, friendly reception, and detailed information about the region and the hotel made us very happy. It was wonderful that every detail was thought of for our daughter and our dog. The breakfast was very tasty and the portions were quite large. There were also coloring pencils waiting for our daughter at the table.

Secluded in the top of Engelberg in the last street, Villa Hundert’s location is very romantic. When you enter the building, you immediately feel the owners’ touch and soul in everything what’s inside. What Christian and John built here is truly outstanding. It is a full experience and journey, starting with the accessories in the room, the common living room upstairs, and then the main attraction: food and wine. We had quite a few gastronomic experiences with my wife so far, but John’s cuisine paired with Christian’s wine sortiment topped everything we ever experienced. The ski bus has a stop right under Villa Hundert, so transportation to the Titlis cablecar is easy. Highly recommended for everyone, who’s looking for a unique and special experience, paired with skiing or snowboarding. This is the perfect choice for a romantic weekend. We will definitely come back!

Even when I woke up late and had missed the designated breakfast hours, the staff graciously prepared a meal for me, a gesture that speaks volumes about their hospitality. The location is in a charming, modern Swiss village, offering the best of both worlds—scenic beauty and contemporary convenience. Outside, a beautiful courtyard adds to the ambiance, providing a perfect spot to unwind. But what truly sets this place apart is the warmth of the people. Their kindness, attention to detail, and genuine hospitality made my stay unforgettable. If you’re looking for a place that combines Swiss charm with modern comfort, this is it.

Everything started from picking up from the station and answering my question promptly. The room is nice with a beautiful view. The staff are all friendly and welcoming.

The hosts were very courteoues and accomodating, private SPA was provided upon request, rooms were clean. All in all, 10/10 recommendation

Loved receiving Prosecco and the kindest greeting. Made us a dinner reservation ahead of time. Loved complimentary robes and slippers. The apricots and tea in the room was delicious!

Exceptional in every way. The staff goes above and beyond, from the minute you book the place. The food at the restaurant was great especially for breakfast.

The property is stunning! Everything is neutral relaxing colors. I understand there was a recent renovation and they did a great job. The location is right across from the train station (walkable even with luggage) and right next to the gornergrat rail station. The staff were beyond pleasant and friendly, we especially loved the bartender (forgot her name lol). The spa is the most luxurious spa I’ve ever seen…and I’ve been to some lovely high end spas. We loved the pool! The breakfast buffet is great with fantastic coffee. Honestly…the attention to detail everywhere made our stay so very special.
