Wilderswil was a pleasant surprise. a quiet residential community a few kilometers from Interlaken, the area is quiet and friendly. A short bus ride to the main train station and into the city of Interlaken provides access to the rest of the area. We got the full chalet experience on a budget with breakfast in the main building. The bathroom is shared with one other room on your floor and fairly basic but that was not an issue for us.
