Take a Fresh Look at Zurich
As the financial capital of Switzerland and headquarters of several large companies including FIFA, there’s a good chance that if you’re in Zurich you’re here on business. But that doesn’t mean this city doesn’t have a playful side.

Fred's Hotel was next to the railway station and opposite the bus station. This enabled us to travel to Zurich by train and walk to the hotel. Several restaurants are also conveniently located in this area. The close proximity of the bus station enabled us to participate in 2 excellent sight seeing tours without any hassles. I work in Zurich five days a week, yet I rarely get to enjoy all the city has to offer. It was great to take advantage of a conveniently-located hotel so that my partner and I could enjoy seeing Tosca at the Opera House, and then meet some of my work colleagues afterward at a self-described "dive bar" just off the infamous Langstrasse. It is super easy to get around Zurich using the tram system, so you can see many things in a short amount of time. We spend quite a bit of time in Switzerland every summer and Fall but concentrate most of our time on the mountains, not the cities. However, every time I’m in the cities I am reminded that I also enjoy them, too. The Old Towns, that is.
