We stayed mostly in the ancient city due to the rain.
We stayed mostly in the ancient city due to the rain. Could not visit the other locations. While in the ancient city, we realised that the mushroom hotpot and BBQ is everywhere, it’s very touristy. Some bakery looks so good but not worth the try. What we really enjoyed more were the small local joints. There’s some exceptional good coffee places along unpopular streets. Which you may find them online. I was there during off peak season, so it was nice, streets were not too crowded. Everywhere in the ancient city Dali, you can explore via foot, just make sure you have a good pair of walking shoes. I do wish to stay longer and explore the less popular streets and enjoy the weather.Guest review byPearlyn
