    Lao Dongjiang rice noodles are very close, highly recommended, they have local flavors that locals like to eat. This street is a street I visited, Shijiayuan Road, there are many snacks, etc. Opposite the hotel is Elephant Trunk Hill, Two Rivers and Four Lakes, which is very suitable for walking and taking pictures. It is beautiful during the day and even more beautiful at night.

    guilin is a famous tourist attraction, things to do include a river cruise, visits of the rice terraces, tea plantation, seven star park, or a river walk around sun&moon twin. might be rather crowded in high tourist season. be aware of the e-scooters, which are just everywhere and don't follow the traffic rules. besides this, it's save to walk, also on ones own, even at night. if you don't speak chinese, find a travel guide, who makes the booking and organises the tickets for you.

    Guilin is a city and all the cruise to Yangshuo starts here.

    Guilin is a city and all the cruise to Yangshuo starts here. Guilin has lively night shopping area and full of restaurants. It has a lake and it is ok to walk around at night and look at the pagodas. There is a famous cave nearby. I personally find Guilin to be good for overnight stay to catch the cruise ship to Yangshuo but I will not stay longer to explore the city.

    People like tranquil and beautiful sceneries will love to visit Guilin. Also, the local food streets give you big selection of food selection. An outstanding restaurant I would like to bring it up is, Ah Kim Chinese restaurant. We like their food so much, we ended up eating dinner there for 5 consecutive days.

    The town was lovely especially the Old Town with its street market at night. The Li River Cruise was disappointing because the weather was poor. Another time I would leaver longer to book and check the weather first - but I was off peak.

    If you're coming to Guilin north station it is very convenient location, especially if you want to continue to Yangshuo. People there were really friendly and lady at the reception gave me many good recommendations what to visit, where to eat etc. The overall atmosphere in the common area with piano was nice. It is very suitable place for backpackers. I tried different hotel near by and after that I value this acommodation even more.

    Simple small hotel in the heart of the city. I stayed for 2 nights, and got the best tips from the hotel staff when it came to tips for Guilin noodles. Friendly staff, when conversation halted due to language, a connection via WeChat and WeChat translate was great and I got all the help I needed. Walking distance to the major sites in Guilin (Elephant Hill, pagodas). Clean and quiet, my room had a view on the river.

Breakfast was a pretty good mix of continental and Chinese food The hotel receptionist was incredibly helpful and nice, able to help with good English to plan our visit to the city and surroundings

    The room is nice and clean with a good view. The location is in the city center. It is within walking distance to attractions. The staff are very helpful. They booked a taxi for us to the train station. At the hotel there is a booth where we can book day tour of Guilin.

    Lovely and clean accomodation. Very kind staff! they helped me with the booking of several tours during my stay in Guilin . Good location. The nearest bus station is 3 minutes from Junshue hotel. Guilin railway station around 15 minutes by car.
