Our host May spoke excellent English and was able to organize our trip from Guilin to Ping’an as well as assist us with planning our day. The accommodation has a very nice family-like atmosphere. We got to eat great local dishes and taste local wine. We had great views of the rice terraces from our balcony.

The room was impressively spacious and tastefully decorated with authentic local touches—I had the most comfortable night’s sleep. The front‑desk staff were genuinely warm and welcoming. Although breakfast isn’t included in the room rate, it was delicious and well worth the extra cost. Behind the hotel there’s a path winding around the rice terraces, leading straight to a viewing point. Strolling among the terraces in the early morning light was simply magical. I highly recommend spending at least one night here to soak up the tranquillity of village life amidst the mountains.

I loved the hotel's location in a little quiet village and breathtaking views from our balcony. The staff were super helpful and fun and they spoke very good English.

This hotel is such a unique place and I dare to say also a foreigner’s paradise as its owner Jason speaks perfect english and is willing to help you with anything from transportation to organising a guided tour through many narrow and hidden pathways through the rice terraces. What is more, part of the hotel is also a restaurant serving both local and western meals, plus the menu is also in english. The rooms are beautifully designed, very well equipped and the view from the balcony is just spectacular. I honestly could not recommend this place more.

The homestay is fantastic, with an antique style. You can directly enjoy the sunrise over the terraced fields, the sea of clouds, and the night view from the room! The boss is very enthusiastic and always answers questions. It's worth recommending

The location and the room view is astonishing. The staff is really helpful, they help us book a private transfer to and from the hotel from our previous and next destination. This location is not in most routes for foreigners but is really worth a visit (it was definitely not crowded, a change for us in china). The breakfast is one of the best we had in china so far. Would had liked to stay another night so we could explore the villages around.

Had a very good stay at this hotel in Ping'an Village. The staff was very caring, showed great hospitality and though there was a language barrier, they were very patient with me. Also, the breakfast and dinner options were delicious. The hotel is very well located, clean and the rooms are very well equipped and nicely decorated. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the rice terraces!
