We enjoyed our stay at Hotel 5 elementos corferias. Front Office Staff Camilo and Alejandro were really friendly. Especially Camilo gave us nice suggestions. Breakfast was very authentic and staff David was nice and prepared us delicious eggs with vegetables. Housekeeping ladies were polite and helpful. Overall room was clean and had a nice interior design. The only thing that really bothered us was the early renovation and construction noise. It started like 6 or 630am. Muchas gracias! Nos la pasaremos genial Greeting from Hong Kong and Germany

The Gold and Botero museums are worth a visit. Monserate where you can view the entire city is also very impressive. Never ever buy uncut emerals or any jewelry on the streets, this can be very dangerous.

Monserrate was nice.

Monserrate was nice. The Museum of Gold was fantastic and unique, worth the trip. The craft gallery across from the Museum of Gold was very good. A walk through the old part of town was very nice. Two days there were just fine. If you like museums a third way would be good. Rush hour traffic was crazy.

We were a group of four and booked a local tour company for private tours over five separate days. I highly recommend it, because we would otherwise not have known which neighbourhoods to explore, and we would have missed out on learning about Bogota’s interesting history. We stayed in the Parque 93 area and ate at several local Colombian restaurants there, also enjoying great Italian, Japanese, and Mexican food nearby. Getting around Bogota is easy and safe with Uber, but plan extra time for traffic, because there is always traffic! The people were so friendly.

Bogota, like other places in Colombia, is steeped in cautious optimism for the future. Everywhere we saw people, representing Colombia's mix of cultures, interacting with us and each other with friendliness and creative energy. We recommend the Graffiti tour, Monserrate, and museums - Oro, Nacional & Botero. Walking around Candelaria and nearby neighborhoods is magical. Bogota is also the jumping off place for the Amazon, the Caribbean coast and Medellin - all of which we enjoyed.

I love Bogota, the weather and the people are wonderful. it is like a combination of the good of a developed and the good of a developing country all in one. Of course there is some things that need improving, but it is a very nice combination of features.

Traffic is horrible and there is only bus service (no metro like Medellin and other more comparable cities). Give yourself ample time for transport if you're visiting the city. A 12km ride at 0700 from the airport to another part of the city took almost 2 hrs. The drive back at 1000 took 75 minutes. Good food. Helpful people. Wonderful museums. I prefer Medellín over Bogota for it's green spaces and ease of getting anywhere on the Metro.

Very clean room, comfortable beds, the staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was and additional advantage - the food was simple (eggs, bread, coffee) yet tasty. The location of the hotel is conveniently connected with the airport, yet it's not very close to the city centre. There are various shops and restaurants in the close neighbourhood which is safe and clean (and this is extremely important in Bogota). Also, as our flight was in the late evening, we could leave our luggage in the hotel lobby.

We arrived in Bogotá on a Friday night, the airport was chaotic and transit was crazy. Fortunately, there was people from the hotel waiting in the airport exit to assist and organize the free shuttle. The hotel itself is great. Our room was Big, very clean and very comfortable.
