we had the tower room with private bathroom which was absolutely gorgeous!!! easy to Organise Tours when you are there. everything worked well (the Peru sloth tour was by far the best). good food at a very good price.

Staying at this hostal with a local family was an unforgettable experience! It offered an authentic glimpse into the daily life of the Macedonia community. We have traveled half the world and have never experienced anything like this. We do not speak Spanish, but we still felt perfectly taken care of. We saw the jungle from both land and water, we saw dolphins and learned about the Amazonian natural methods of dyeing fabrics and handicrafts. We fished for piranhas in a scenery like from Indiana Jones. But the best thing was the hospitality with which we were received. Always delicious meals 3 times a day. Infinite understanding if our language was too weak to ask something. Thank you very much, you are beautiful people

I was impressed with my room, it offered a sizeable double bed and the accomodation itself overlooked the Amazon river. where you can admire the sunrise and sunset. The staff were super helpful & friendly. The Maloka in the center of the accommodation offered the perfect space to browse the handmade artesanias, as well as enjoy a meal and meet local people and travellers alike. I would go back in a heartbeat.

We enjoyed our stay in this place in Puerto narino. Very cozy, polite and nice host. The room was small with almost no fresh air inside, but for sleeping is okay.

The place is very nice, you have your own hut with private bathroom and balcony with a hammock facing a beautiful pond, where you can hear the famous Pirarucu fish jumping and see a baby cayman (you don't have to go further or buy a tour to see them). It is quite comfortable. I loved the hosts, Charlie, his wife and their children. They were all lovely, kind, helpful. Also, I loved that we could have genuine conversations with them, so you make a connection with the local people. They were also flexible to change my date and leave my luggage, when I went to stay the night within the jungle.
