Great mid-size city with pleanty of restaurants, shopping and 2 excellent malls. It is known as the cattle capitol of Colombia and on the outskirts, there are a lot of "fincas" with hundreds of head of cattle.Guest review byAndres

The front desk gentleman was lovely, saying he wouldn't charge us in case we opted to cancel, since they had no prediction of when electricity would come back up. The balcony was what I liked the most, the possibility to go out to take the breeze and observe the busy live of downtown Monteria below made the difference.
