    Rionegro is beautiful.

    Rionegro is beautiful. I did not like the hotel as I had a rough start with terrible service from the receptionist the day before the trip. No TV options, so feel it's over priced for such bad service.

    it was just the last afternoon and night before our flight...

    it was just the last afternoon and night before our flight back home. we did have coffee in the lobby cafe, had lunch nearby (2 min by car) and in check out at 5 am went super smooth. we were within 7 minutes at the airport- where we dropped of the car. it is very close and easy access to the airport, which was our purpose to book this hotel.

    rionegro is lovely. star suites, not so much. there were...

    rionegro is lovely. star suites, not so much. there were cracks the walls, daylight and noise coming through. the bed was wet. ceiling tiles askew. apparently, it has no address, so GPS to locate is worthless. and i have to ask, how could a business like booking. com even promote a property like this on their website?

    I love San Nicolas for shopping.

    I love San Nicolas for shopping. Rionegro is hectic, and growth is uncontrolled. The outskirts of Rionegro are incredible, and there are quiet spots if you get away from the city. You have to be careful about your belongings and crimes of opportunity.

    Beautiful emerald green mountains and mirror-like lakes. Kind people. Delicious food. Services-cost relationship great (hotel and some tours to Medelllin). Airport had many stores and at least two restaurants which are highly commendable.

    I discovered this hotel four stays ago when I needed a place...

    I discovered this hotel four stays ago when I needed a place for 6 hours before a late night flight out of Colombia. I keep coming back whenever I can because it is quite, very clean, restful and economical. The family that owns and runs it is always super friendly and I enjoy talking with them. The airport shuttle is fast and reliable. This is a simple hotel, but perhaps the best value I have ever come across. It has become more than just a place to stay, but really a part of my frequent trips to Colombia that I look forward to.

    Superb hosting by Marina :) a kind, helpful and friendly woman. she helped settle and accommodate our pets in a comfortable room, and made my mom and I feel very welcome. Like visiting a friend :) the place is spacious for your pets to roam in a beautiful manicured orchard with avocado trees, small fish tank for growing tilapia and an a small organic veggie garden. I approve this message :) and beautiful space especially if your re travelling with pets from the Rionegro Airport, since it is a 10 minute drive from here.

    This place is such a gem - very close to airport but you feel like you are deep in nature. The price for what you receive is incredible - giant room, big balcony, wonderful staff. I only did a quick layover night, here but it exceeded my expectations. Airport transfer is easy to coordinate and professional (and all charged through hotel so no fuss with cash). Food was really excellent, and drinks were well made. I wish I had more time here to enjoy the property!

    I only used this as a near-to-the-airport hotel for one night to avoid having to head into Medellin at midnight on my first night. The free hotel pickup was quick and easy, then check-in was simple enough too. The rooms were basic, but actually surprisingly comfortable... and super quiet too. They had complimentary water and snacks too. Also, the security of the rooms was impressive too. Also, it's a small place, but the grounds are beautifully kept.
