Malekus Mountain Lodge is a beautiful property. The Lodge is the perfect base for hiking the local parks, and the breakfasts are varied & delicious. Ana is a fantastic person with a big heart and lots of knowledge about plants and flowers in the surrounding area. We were so lucky to have a sloth in the trees and and could even watch the armadillo in the garden. The colorful birds were just amazing. A great place to stay and calm down. Thank you Ana!!!

It was amazing experience for our family. I wish we could stay longer, there is a lot to do and explore at Ernesto's farm. Wild nature, amazing views, a lot of animals made our stay really exclusive. We definetly recommend this place to all people who want to expirience real and wild Costa Rica! Thanks to Ernesto and his wife for so much fun!

We stayed here for 1 night but wished we could have stayed longer. Johnny (I think he is the owner or manager), could not have been more hospitable. He welcomed us with a coffee and snacks after a long journey from Nicaragua. He arranged a room with 2 single beds into a double room with air conditioning even though the hotel was busy. He also helped us with transport and recommendations for activities, as well as showing and telling us about all the wildlife that surrounds the hotel. He is so kind. The hotel is very cute and comfortable. The breakfast was filling and delicious, and you eat it whilst sat outside listening to the birds and nature. Would absolutely stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay! The property is beautiful and the hot pools are amazing. You wake up to the sounds of birds in the morning! Loved the hospitality - it is a family run business and the owner was really helpful; Juan, our server at the restaurant was great and the food was really tasty! Exceptional value for money too!

beautifull jungle walk in the property with access to the beautifull river. Tucans and other birds visited us every morning. two minutes from the villa, is one of the nicest walks to a great watrfall.
