The owner and his family personally made sure all his guests were happy and comfortable, providing extra services. The rooms as well as the grounds were exceptionally beautiful. The beds were very comfortable, the rooms quiet, light and spacious, bathroom had an indoor and outdoor shower. The restaurant was also quite good, with a variety of good quality breakfasts, lunches and suppers as well as a couple of special dessert treats. We had the pool to ourselves in the afternoons.

The building is an absolute treasure, it's a house from 1915 and they have really preserved the ambiance and feeling. Travel is about immersion and this place gives you such a wonderful sense of being in Latin America in the best way possible.

Fab location in Alajuela. Easy walk from bus station and to central plaza and market. And great restaurants in this town. Easy to book tours from here. The pool is lovely and there are several seating areas around the pool. As a solo traveller, I was happy to meet other travellers while at the pool.

The property was very well maintained, beautiful grounds , the room was spacious, comfortable and clean. The employees were very friendly and very attentive to our needs. The owner was very professional, courteous and spoke English as well. He made sure that we were happy during our stay.
