Such a beautiful place! I regret we didn't stay longer! The cabins are well equipped, beds are comfortable, everything very clean. Surrounded by a beautiful garden, with a pond and many many plants and trees. We also enjoyed our breakfast while watching hummingbirds. Not too complicated to find, but Google maps was sometimes a bit confused and sent us on a unnecessary detour.

What an amazing place! The cottage is easy to reach, yet you feel completely immersed in nature. The kitchen had everything we could possibly need, and the complimentary coffee was such a treat. Sitting outside, you overlook the beautifully maintained garden, and the host, Anna, even lets you know when sloths are spotted in the trees—a truly unique and wonderful touch! In the area, we loved relaxing in the thermal baths, hiking up the Miravalles Volcano (challenging but so rewarding!), and visiting Rincón de la Vieja. We also took plenty of time to simply unwind, which fit perfectly into our travel plans. On our way there we passed by Rio Celeste, another absolute highlight and well worth a day trip.

We absolutely loved this accommodation! Lovely house in a big green yard with outdoors kitchenette, beautiful for a nice breakfast in the morning. The hosts are so welcoming and really made sure we had everything.

Great central location to all the attractions as National Park and Springs. Delicious dinner offered by the host (home made) which was the testiest that we ate in Costa Rica for good price. Malekus Mountain Lodge is a beautiful property. The Lodge is the perfect base for hiking the local parks, and the breakfasts are varied & delicious. A beautiful small hotel in the "forest". Everything, especially, the breakfast area is surrounded by trees, plants, flowers. Amazing place. Breakfast was rich and tasty. The manager is extremely kind and speaks excellent English. Room was huge and WIFI was fast. They have private parking. Close to town and to a few restaurants.
