Note: during my stay I was the only guest of the hotel. The location is what makes this hotel great. Next to the beach, which is beautiful and very quiet with most of the time only a few.fishermen. I wish I would never have to leave. Bring your own food and drinks because there are almost no restaurants or shops around the hotel. You can use the communal kitchen, which is well stocked with all the amenities you need to cook a meal. The breakfast that was made every morning was really plentiful, for me even enough to also cover lunch. Everything was also really delicious! Don't expect luxury, the rooms are pretty basic and have only cold showers (which is fine because it isn't that cold). I didn't have issues with mosquitoes. The ceiling fan just ran 24/7 and kept them out I guess.

Our stay could not have been better. The room was comfortable and quiet. The setting of this hotel could not have been more beautiful. It was difficult to leave my ocean front beach chair to so anything more than watch surfers and read my book. I was there to celebrate my birthday and Anabel left me a sweet birthday gift as a surprise. She also helped for my partner to arrange a surfing lesson. We will most certainly return to this wonderful gem of a hotel.

We loved this place! The view was amazing and the terrace gave us so much additional space. I loved my early mornings reading a book and listening to howler monkies (saw them too on our last morning). This place was outside the crowded main street and we loved that. The room was clean and the pool was nice for cooling down. And the pool was not crowded in this small place. The kitcken was good enough for simple cooking.

This place is both beautiful and magical. You stay in luxury surrounded by nature and the sound of the sea, apes and birds. Our villa had a swimming pool on the side. The food is super, you taste the fresh products and the staff is very kind.
