Look no further! Super premium, luxury hotel, with huge rooms and luxury bathrooms. The pool is great, really big. The location is centric, can't be better than that (but not on the main road, so it can't be better). The hotel is newly built, so we were one of the first guests. The team is really helpful. The beds are super comfortable.

The staff was super nice and helpful, the hotel grounds are super well maintained and the hotel as well. We we supplied with beach chairs and beach towels, and even got umbrellas when it started raining. The breakfast was also great and huge. Best location in tamarindo.

Excellent, cannot recommend it enough. Stayed for two weeks as a female solo traveler and felt safe. Stayed in a bungalow which was very clean. This boutique hotel had cozy communal spaces. Breakfast in my opinion is the best value for money in town. It is close enough to everything by foot, but far enough from the bars etc to be quiet, which was perfect for me. Thank you so much to Richard and Juan Carlos for making my stay great!

I get access to the big pool and breakfast at the bigger partner hotel, Daria! It's owned by the same owner. I paid less than half, then what friends paid at Daria. Add the breakfast it's totally worth it!

    Town is just big enough that there are lots of shops, restaurants, and things to do. Gorgeous beach also. But small enough that you can walk everywhere. It's a good base for the northwest area but doing a day trip to a volcano or other sights is hours each way.

    The most wonderful vibrant town! Will definitely be back. Recommend dinner and music at L'Estanco El Jardin Escondido & dancing at El Garito. Also enjoyed my surf lesson booked with Tamarindo Surf & Tours through Localbird.

    I absolutely love Costa Rica and extremely dislike Tamarindo. Tamarindo is the opposite of the soul of Costa Rica. Driving into Tamarindo from anywhere else on the pacific coast is a complete shock - a nosedive into consumerism, price gauging, bad food, constant harassment from vendors, laced with a background of drugs and overall sketchiness, and all dressed up in a sellers mask of "pura vida"... but believe me when I say there is no pura vida in Tamarindo.

    Tamarindo has a nice beach, but way too many tourists. There are a lot of hotels and restaurants in a small amount of space. I felt claustrophobic. Lots of wealth in the area mixed with pobreza. Appears to be mostly Americans and Europeans with the wealth.

    We left Canada on a snowy day and arrived to 34C heat; very warm. The local people are very friendly and seem to appreciate tourists, even those like us, who don’t speak Spanish. The town is definitely a tourist town with many shops and restaurants. The sunsets can be remarkable and we were surprised to see so many of the locals arriving on the beach to appreciate the sun disappearing and watch the sky’s afterglow that followed.

    Tamarindo had the most vibrant vibe out of the areas I visited in the area. Its got a great beach, nightlife and many good dining options. I did get propositioned one time (at 7pm) but was probably the only single male walking around (it was off season and few foreign tourists, mostly locals). I politely say no thank you and that was the end of it. I felt completely safe diving and walking around, even at night. I ate a several local restaurants outside my hotel and had great meals at each. Surfing in the main draw here, but there are lots of excursions in the area.

    Location was conveniently close to beach (less than 5 min walk) but far away enough from nightlife to feel quiet in evenings (we were there as family). Also well located near some fab restaurants. Room/apartment was fantastic: large, clean, well equipped and private. Pool was mostly in shade, and great to cool off in after day in sea, helped with Happy hour in nice bar! Best breakfast we had in Costa Rica. Cooked fresh, and everything we tried off menu was fantastic. Also saw monkeys within pool area.

    The hotel exceeded my expectations. It offered everything we needed: a comfortable bed, a clean room, an amazing breakfast offer, nice and helpful staff, and in a great location, just a short walk to the hustle and bustle of Tamarindo, while still feeling secluded. Would recommend 100%.
