We did a tour to the cheesemaking farm Herencia, high up on the slope of the volcano. Getting there via Google maps was a bit tedious but on the way back we got better directions - via Santa Cruz and Torito. The tour is a great experience! On the way back we visited the national monument at Guayabo. We also tried to reach the Aquiares waterfall, but this is a bit difficult to find and we did not get there in time, had to turn back. The last stretch is climbing over big boulders along the riverbed.Guest review byStegeman

You are surrounded by nature and everything is really neat and clean! Breakfast is excellent! We did an horse riding tour with Walter and we just loved it! we spent only 2 nights but would love to spend some more time!
